The technology has made this possible not only to the body but also the jaw to regrow itself. Dentists are using this method to restore the tissues missing in the jaws of the patients. One of the pioneers of this jaw treatment is Cameron Clokie.
Clokie got his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DSS) in the year 1985. He then went into special dental training which he completed in 1990. He also perused a doctorate in the field of bone regeneration majoring in dental implants in McGill University in1992.
It is this that got him into his career as an expert and professor working at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University of Toronto. In fact, he earned the title of a leader in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Clokie has come up with innovation ways to handle surgical management of the jaw. He has also come up with many publications and also lectured both locally and internationally on various topics in dental health care.
After retiring, Clokie did not just sit and rest at home; he tried to find a way that he can help people and that is when he came up with the creation of jaw regenerating medication to be used all around the globe and contribute to improving the lives of people.
Clokie uses a protein known as morphogenetic to seduce the stem cells into becoming bone tissue. The technique is used to reset the jaw skeleton so that it can grow as they do in newborns children. The outcome of the process is to ensure that the bone which grows back is similar to the one that was lost.
The people who have undertaken this procedure are not only happy with the results but also the little time that it takes to heal. Most of them have been able to move out and about after two weeks of going through this procedure.
